Business Development Manager – Mobile Services

  • Qualifications Required:
    Marketing or similar Degree
  • Experience Required:
    Minimum of 6 years post qualification sales and marketing experience at a senior management level in the mobile sector

Work closely with Leadership to create, develop and implement a strategic sales plan to advance the brand vision and expand footprint

Understand the business strategy, target markets (Telcos’ – MTN, Vodacom, Telkom Cell C etc.), mobile products and services and product price points

Develop the product, price and positioning strategies for each channel of distribution

Manage and foster relationships with key accounts (Telcos and retail partners) and seek out new business opportunities

Research, analyse and develop Sales strategies to translate the strategic plan into a relevant sales and business development plans.

Work with other Heads – Marketing, Development, Partner Networks and Customer Experience to maximise marketing and sales opportunities and review sales targets from time to time. Partner with the planning team to analyse channel sales, review forecasting and identify areas of opportunity for growth

Tracks sales data and Analyse retail and competitive landscape to develop focused action plans and recommended assortments for the brand

Analyse trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies and other information to improve marketing and sales performance.

Create and present regular performance reports
